After a brief visit to the tower of the castle of Porciano, we will follow the CAI path 4A to reach the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a Renaissance jewel of the Casentino, and Molin di Bucchio, the first mill on the Arno river. This path has no technical difficulties.
At the mill you will be welcomed by the descendants of the same family who owned the mill in the early Middle Ages, They will give you a taste of the past in a very friendly family atmosphere.
You will be accompanied on this lovely path by medieval archeologist Andrea Biondi and an environmental guide, with the help of donkeys for toddlers.

The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie is the site of the apparition of the Madonna in 1420 and, to this day, is a destination of pilgrimage and devotion.
